Lost Weekend

Love Fridays

It's raining outside my window, and I got a bit soggy when Chris and I just went out in search of a coffee...I had planned to post a rainy photo but when I saw this one of Jek's, I loved it, and thought it would brighten everyone's day up.

Loving Friday, I plan to have a well earned rest tonight, and maybe do some stitching, tomorrow see some friends, and on Sunday go to the Art Deco exhibition with the Knitting Knazi.

And there will be laundry, but not as sweet and whimsical as Jek's.

My (very drunken) sis just sms'ed me and asked me to come to this gig.  Oh, the Wreckery, you were one of the lurves of my teenage years.  Hope ECJ is still a spunk.

Nothing's changed, I still love you

...only slightly only slightly less than I used to, my love.

After my Friday night efforts at making a journal, which went to this nice chick, I was feeling a bit crafted out.  And at Mixtogether I boofed around loudly more than I crafted (sorry peeps if I annoyed you)...today I tried some crocheting with a tiny hook and some cotton, but just couldn't be arsed anymore after I made a little 2 inch granny square.

Have I lost the mojo?  Right now, I don't want to sew or knit, I want to play the guitar.  Only problem is, I don't know how.  Be very grateful that you don't live with me.

This pic was taken Easter 2008...still not finished.  My quilt using hand printed fabric by the "local gals".  Needs to be backed and quilted.

My dog's breakfast quilt, still a wip. I'm not too fussed about this one though, as it's just a scrap recycling one...so it grows slowly.

Some stitching that was supposed to turn into a Heart for Mirabel...yes, remember months ago. *shame*

Last year's Winter project, a hand pieced quilt. The top is about 80% finished.
